Ukraine Peace & Love Block
Overwhelmed by the response to the Ukraine Sunflower Quilt (below), I was compelled to create another design in the form of a paper-pieced block that reads "peace and love", both in Ukrainian and English. Included are instructions to construct a throw-size quilt by making three of these blocks.
I'm filled with gratitude for all the Sunflower quilts that have been made by so many wonderful quilters! They have either been donated directly to refugees or raffled off to provide much-needed funds, during this horrific and senseless war.
So again... I send all the love out to you, my fellow quilters... and thank you for your continued support.

Ukraine Sunflower Throw-size Quilt
In times of devastation and hurt, as quilters we do what we do best...wrap our fellow human in a hug that is a quilt.
Being half a world away from the horror and destruction of Ukraine, I was moved to design this quilt pattern...to share with others...so that we might help in some small way.
